The Visual Sound Bath is a public art installation created in collaboration with Duluth International Airport. The installation is located in the skybridge that joins the parking lot to the main terminal at DLH. It is free and open to the public at all hours of the day. The installation changes with the movement of the sun, creating reflections as the light changes throughout the day. The sound is activated by motion, as one walks through the bridge. It combines vibrant colors, forms, and sounds to create an uplifting sensory experience.
As an artist and sound therapist, Boughton has dreamed of combining these two practices to create a fully immersive, experiential piece of public art.
So honored to be included in the July/August issue
